Whether you’re hoping for historical sites, the best pizza on earth, or exciting places to shop, Rome is sure to delight you! It’s the home of many famous paintings and sculptures, and an excellent place to visit for a glass of wine you’ll still be thinking about years from now. 

Not only is Rome a fantastic vacation spot for everyone, but it’s also a great destination specifically for those who use wheelchairs. Surprising, right? Starhotels Metropole Roma

If you’re looking for a hotel in the midst of the bustle of Rome that will still give you peace and quiet, look no further than the Starhotels Metropole Roma Hotel! The hotel is located close to the Rome Opera House and Piazza della Repubblica, as well as the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. The hotel offers room service, laundry and dry cleaning, Wi-Fi, a fitness room, and a business corner.  

They have rooms equipped with roll-in showers to allow for easy access for those in wheelchairs. They also have 3 elevators throughout the hotel. The hotel does not have a pool, but they offer plenty of opportunities to relax and have fun through the attractions so near the hotel.

The hotel rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and created for you to have the most enjoyable experience possible. When booking a room, expect to pay around $220 a night.

The Hotel Tiber

Are you hoping to find a modern hotel in the ancient city of Rome? If so, be sure to check out the Hotel Tiber! It’s newly built and completely modern. It’s very close to the international airport of Rome and situated in the historic center of Fiumicino. It is designed to look like a large cruise ship, looking out on the river Tiber.

The hotel has rooms for wheelchair users on the ground floor. The rooms have roll-in showers for easy use. The hotel has elevators if a wheelchair user desires to go higher in the hotel. They do not have pool lifts.

Expect to pay around $600 per night depending on the room and time of year you’re traveling.

The Hotel Artemide in Rome

The Hotel Artemide in Rome runs on the idea that “It is the finer touches that make a great hotel.” They do everything they can to give you the perfect vacation in Rome. The rooms are elegant, comfortable, and clean. The views look like they’re from a fairytale, and your stay will give you beautiful memories for a lifetime.

They have wheelchair accessible rooms with completely accessible bathrooms. There is a small hot tub in the spa, but it does not have a pool lift. The hotel staff are always happy to assist in any way possible. You can walk from the hotel to the Colosseum-Fontana di Trevi-Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, and the Piazza Navona.

The Aleph Rome Hotel

The Aleph Rome Hotel is an elegant home away from home. It’s currently being renovated to make it even more comfortable and luxurious than ever. The hotel will be reopened for its second grand opening on July 1st, 2017. It is being painted by creative artists to make it a beautiful oasis for travelers.

There will be two elevators that can take you to the pool on the terrace. They have two lifts on the terrace but do have a few steps that must be climbed to access it. The hotel has wheelchair accessible rooms with roll-in baths. The hotel is located in the center of Rome, about 20 meters from Barberini Square. It is surrounded by many interesting tourist attractions.

The prices are still being decided upon and will be made public upon the opening of the hotel in July. The hotel will be a wonderful place to stay full of rest and beauty!

Starhotel Michelangelo Roma

One last beautiful place of rest is the Starhotel Michelangelo Roma Hotel. It is placed right next to the Vatican City and St. Peter’s Dome. For further attractions, the front desk workers have an easy to follow city map available for outings.

The hotel has wheelchair accessible rooms with accessible bathrooms with handrails for extra ease of use. The hotel does not have a pool, but the nearby tourist attractions offer quite a bit to see and do!
